Reflection
In my art teachers room there was always this one snow globe, a New York City one. I always thought it would be cool to draw something with it, and when I was looking for ideas on this project it hit me, the snow globe! During the process I wondered how to draw the city inside the snow globe, should it drown, be on flames, or be polluted. This really helped me enhance my creativity and imaginations because I had to imagine things I never would have, and like the specific colors; for example the water, flames, and smoke. Also, since this is about climate change I did my research, and I learned that a lot of the normal activities we do are causing carbon dioxide, and greenhouse gas around the atmosphere and changing the climate. Due to this, I wanted to show people that showing that their city or country is good isn’t always a good thing, you sometimes need to show people it’s in getting dangerous. We need to show people what will happen if we keep living in comfort, just using electricity day by day. We need to show and warn that that could happen to their city. We need to show this is our future, and we need to change it, but how? Us, we need to change, not change it, we change.
