Team Trees

Stylized text with various fonts and colors titled "Team Trees," discussing tree planting and environmental conservation.

Reflection

I decided to write this short tree shaped poem because I want all of us to understand the true scale of deforestation and global warming. Trees can help the environment and reduce global warming by absorbing excess carbon from the atmosphere. However, with so many trees getting cut down every year, many large rainforests across the world are being turned into empty lands. To make the poem more interesting, I decided to be creative in its shape, which put limits on the length of lines and rhyme scheme. I hope when people read my poem, they will know the truth of deforestation and help the environment by planting plants like I did.
