Reflection
Growing up, I have watched countless forests burn to the ground, trees, one of our main sources of life, merely ashes sweeping the barren ground like a lingering phantom. I love nature, and birds, especially the endangered 'Golden eagle' depicted in my artwork, always have this glint of fury and wrath in their solemn eyes, which inspired me to create this artwork- 'Wrath of the Wings'. I used charcoal, to emphasise the corpsed, burned forests, the tone could be rendered smooth, or coarse, to reflect the harsh texture of trees and the Golden eagle. Art, music, films, the list goes on... inspires me, with whatever message it possesses, and I aim to inspire people the way art inspires me and emphasise my message of raising awareness to climate change, as there is only one world, one chance of life. And I hate sitting on the sofa, watching the news reporting wildfires, polar caps melting, more animals becoming extinct, eating food which many children may not have in the future due to the rise of sea levels. Beyond recycling, I always collect scrap paper, using it for maths or rough ideas, I also take public transport and walk to the bus station, me and my family do not waste food, and we turn lights off when not needed.
