Boston Sea Rovers 2021
Saturday, October 2, 9am-5pm and Sunday, October 3, 9:30am-3pm
Danvers, MA

Bow Seat Student Art will be showcased at the 2021 Boston Sea Rovers show.

Bow Seat’s 2020 Contest, Climate Hope: Transforming Crisis, invited students to learn about climate change while discovering and imagining possible solutions. After engaging in art-making for the ocean, students connect deeply with environmental issues, develop a personal voice, and often become ocean advocates. These powerful works by young artists, including some from several local communities, expose what is happening to our ocean; reflect on what it means to be a human in the 21st century; discover and advocate for solutions on personal and planetary scales; and inspire a culture of respect and action for all life on this blue planet.

The Boston Sea Rovers is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the underwater world. Started in 1954 as a means of educating the public how to safely use scuba, their yearly show has evolved into a world renown three-day event that draws attendees, presenters and exhibitors from all over the world. The show is designed to entertain and educate the public on topics of exploration, filmmaking, scientific discoveries, scuba diving and more. The show consists of many facets designed for both the diving and non-diving public.
