Update April 6, 2020: Please visit our COVID-19 Distance Learning Resource Page >

Now more than ever, we are grateful for our global community of students, educators, partners, and friends who have demonstrated time and again your commitment to caring for our world and for each other. Thank you.

During this challenging time, we are committed to providing opportunities for deep and enriching online learning experiences, as well as offering space for reflection, inspiration, and creativity. We are here for you, and we are in this together.

Our 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest—Climate Hope: Transforming Crisis—is accepting submissions until June 15th through our free, online platform. The Contest is not only a way for students to participate in a digital action advocating for the health of our planet, but the creative process can be a restorative personal action during these uncertain times.

Beginning this week, we will be providing activities based on our collection of teen art and writing for teachers and students to continue to explore issues facing our blue planet. (In the meantime, visit our Resource Studio!) We will also be sharing stories, podcasts, videos, and other multimedia about hope, transformation, and staying connected to this changing world. Join our mailing list for updates from Bow Seat, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and taking care of each other 💙

In solidarity—the Bow Seat Team
