Cara Fritz

Cara graduated from Middlebury College in 2025, double majoring in Environmental Policy and Creative Writing. The ocean has always inspired her creative work, and she received the Gold Award for Prose from Bow Seat in 2017. Both of her Honors theses at Middlebury focused on the environment: her creative writing thesis centered on the ocean and the relationship between water and language while her environmental policy research investigated the relationship between public opinion and decarbonization. Cara loves swimming, gardening, arts & crafts, and writing. She looks forward to supporting Bow Seat’s mission on the Contest judging panel.
