Carlee Jackson
Carlee Jackson is a marine biologist studying sharks and sea turtles. At six years old she read her first book on sharks and fell in love with these animals. Now, she researches how different human interactions affect shark behavior and sea turtles. Carlee is also a founder and Director of Communications for Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS), an organization dedicated to making shark sciences more accessible, especially to minorities of color. She is very passionate about marine biology and getting others excited for sharks and sea turtles!
As a renowned author, scientist and educator, Carlee Jackson has dedicated her life to studying sharks and educating others on their importance to the world’s oceans. From her debut on international TV with National Geographic’s Sharkfest to the release of 3 children’s books…Carlee is making waves in the shark and marine science world!
