Destiny Polk is a life long creative with a passion for advocating for equitable access to resources, information, opportunity and exposure. Destiny is a world traveling, celebrated artist who has written and produced short films, published digital and print publications, performed on many stages and collaborated with world renown artists and has reached hundreds of thousands of people through her impact in artistic collaborations and social movements. Her art-activist platform Radical Black Girl Productions has partnered in activating communities across the country, providing programming, production, and education. Her work can be found on major media platforms and her artistry has been featured on BET, MTV & Rollingstone. She is recognized by art institutions like the National Center of Afro-American Artists for her dedication in her work against bigotry and racism, also seen on WGBH speaking on the institution’s responsibility in acknowledging Black Histories. Her platform activates community through live events & pop ups, arts education, arts & cultural programming, workshops, community organizing, media activation, outreach strategies, collaborative projects and mission driven partnerships.
