Dzidzor Azaglo
Dzidzor (pronounced Jee-Joh) is a mystic folklorist/performing artist/wonderer. Drawing inspiration from Octavia E. Butler’s powerful question “What do we need to do now to create the world we want to live in?” Dzidzor engages the body as a site of possibility, where healing can take root, and liberation can be practiced in real-time. Her artistic reach spans renowned institutions and sacred spaces. She has performed at the ICA Boston, Old North Church, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Marsh Chapel, Harvard University, the University of Ghana, and more. In each setting, she transforms space into soundscapes of exploration, allowing stories and melodies to serve as tools of awakening.
