Reflection
The reason I painted this art piece is to bring awareness to the number of marine animals that are dying from all the pollution from smog and litter, mainly caused by factories. The skull represents the effect of pollution on oceans, whilst the entire sky is the sea. The closer the animals are to the skull, the more deceased and dull they look. I learned that people need to be more aware of what is going on whenever they throw trash in the ocean, and be more thoughtful about the widespread effects it has on our entire ecosystem. In addition, we should all make it our responsibility to clean up our environment whenever we see trash throughout our daily lives, as we can all play a small part in improving the state of our planet. If all of this keeps going on ignored, helpless animals will pay the price, and it will be too late.
