Reflection

This video is created in order to bring awareness about oil pollution, and the irreversible damage it does to our environment. Oil spills are a major concern for our environment and it is our duty to protect those who are severely affected by it, like seagulls, ducks, sea lions, walruses, polar bears, sea otters, river otters, beavers, whales, and so many more animals, that I couldn’t add in this animation. The oil spill in this video takes on the form of a human because we are the ones causing oil spills.

Oil spills are mainly caused due to transportation of oil tankers, when oil starts to leak out into the ocean. Sometimes, oil enters the ocean during war, when countries dump oil into their foe’s waters. It is also caused by equipment breaking down, and natural disasters.

The ending statement, “Your Apathy Kills” points to the lack of concern about our home planet. As a community, we need to care and take care of Earth, and taking care of our ocean is our obligation as well.
