The Extinct Animal History Museum
Lanna Song
Buena Park, California
2019, Junior, Art (2014 – 2023)
Reflection

In this artwork, I thought it would have been interesting to draw what I think these creatures’ futures would be. I think the creatures will soon be found only in museums because of all the toxic and waste these marine animals (and many more) involuntarily receive. However, in the whole process, I felt sad for the animals I drew because they looked so lonely, and it looked like they were calling for help. The artwork shows grass and rocks around the animals because some of the animals would be migrating to other places with desire for more food or a cooler temperature.
