Bow Seat Welcomes Esteemed Guest Judges to Our Crew!
February 19, 2019

We have always been fortunate to have talented artists, writers, filmmakers, educators, and scientists as part of our judging team, and we are honored to welcome special guest members to our crew for the Healthy Whale, Healthy Ocean Challenge! This program – a collaboration between Bow Seat and Conservation Law Foundation – encouraged K-12 students in the New England and Gulf of Maine regions to create visual art, poetry, and short films that celebrate the critically endangered North Atlantic right whales and drive action for their protection.

We received more than 130 imaginative and inspiring submissions, and our judges now have the difficult task of selecting the participants who most effectively combined knowledge of the issue, creative expression, and persuasive activism. Stay tuned for the winners announcement coming this spring!
