Growing up in Kazakhstan, the largest landlocked country in the world that gained independence only 30 years ago, I was always passionate about environmental justice issues and made it my mission to raise awareness about our ecological problems.

I focus on creative environmental activism by making videos and writing blogs on environmental topics, and I am grateful to have done so as a Bow Seat Future Blue Youth Council 2023 member and a World Ocean Day Advisory Council 2024 member. You can check out the blog I wrote about a disappearing sea in my country here and watch the video that I edited for the True Blue Fellowship program here. In 2024, I also got to attend the UNESCO International Youth Forum in China, where I shared my experience with changemakers from 60+ countries, and you can read more about it here.

I am really excited to be the 2026 Bow Seat Alumni Advisor and connect the global Bow Seat Alumni to make an even bigger environmental impact. I plan to involve people from all parts of the world, so definitely don’t miss out on the opportunities to get engaged! I can’t wait to see you all join us on this amazing journey!
