Reflection
My work was inspired by my own feelings and views of the ocean; I think the ocean is beautiful but it is also dying because of the human race. While my work was in progress, I had feelings of concern and worry for our planet and the ocean. If we do not start to make some changes, then the ocean and marine life will continue to suffer until there's nothing left of it. The message I want to pass on to viewers is that while we have control, we are running out of time to fix the damage we have already done. I want viewers to see that the ocean and marine life are beautiful, and they should be treated as such. I've learned that humans are releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, damaging the planet. However, I have hope because there are still steps we can take as individuals to help our environment. Actions I will take to help include continuing to eat a more plant based and Eco- friendly diet and not supporting factory farms or harmful industries with my money. The ocean is a beautiful place and we are watching it disappear.
