Reflection
After researching, I found hope in the darkness of our world through the many innovative ways we can solve the problem of climate change. One of these is solar farms, which are large plots of land covered with solar panels that harness the sun’s energy during the day. They essentially farm sun energy. Once established, they provide electricity in the form of solar energy for many years to come, providing us with a more affordable energy source. This is a great step towards reducing our carbon footprint, and it is a massive leap in the advancement of clean energy. My painting represents hope for the future, as it shows a dawn of a new era, a solar farm, and it shows the darkness of burning fossil fuels being driven away. I was inspired to make this when hearing about the rise of technologies that work to solve climate change. While painting this piece, I’ve learned a lot about solutions to the climate crisis. I’ve learned how the harmful effects of fossil fuels can be reversed with clean energy, and how solar energy could be the main source of energy for the future. I hope that my art not only educates others about this solution, but also inspires them to take action.
