Reflection
I think that North Atlantic right whales are enormous, gentle creatures that are being wrongfully victimized. Their extinction is being caused by us destroying their habitat with trash, oil, and global warming. These large creatures get caught in fishing lines and ropes and then are left to die. Also, their icy waters are being polluted by oil spills, courtesy of us. Next, the right whales live in the northern part of the Atlantic (hence the name), which is very cold. But global warming is causing those waters to heat up, which changes their habitat. Without realizing it, we end up harming the animals and organisms in the ecosystem around us. Because of us, these amazing creatures will lose, and are losing, their homes and habitats. We have to start thinking about how we can correct our mistakes, and how we can save animals like these whales from going extinct.
