Suffocating Mother Nature
Laura Song
Buena Park, CA
2018, Junior, Art (2014 – 2023)
Reflection

My poster portrays the damages we are causing on Earth and what our Earth will look like if we continue damaging it. The big lady holding (future) Earth is our Mother Nature who is crying because of what we have done to Earth’s nature. Mother Nature’s front arm is slowly breaking/shattering because of the disastrous drought that Earth experienced. The Earth is messy and imperfect including its cities, because we are using up so many natural resources. The heart in the center of Earth represents a drop of hope and nature. The tube carries all of the wastes and problems that were on Earth and surrounds Mother Nature. I used watercolor, colored pencils, and acrylic paint for my artwork.
