    Where Creativity Meets Environmental Action

The True Blue Fellowship connects and empowers youth around the world leveraging the creative arts to safeguard the ocean, waterways, and climate. Through seed funding, peer support, and capacity building, the Fellowship follows a trust-based, creative arts-centered model to uplift youth enacting transformational change in their communities. It is not simply a grant program, it is an incubator for creative environmental leadership worldwide. If you want to make a difference in your community, we invite you to participate in the True Blue Fellowship!

The True Blue Fellowship provides mentorship, capacity-building programming, and up to USD $2,500 in funding for 12 youth leading creative arts-based projects that address ocean, waterways, and/or climate change issues in their local communities.

Projects should be at least one year in duration (January to December), and meet the following Fellowship goals:

Have a tangible impact on your local community and environment

Bow Seat’s True Blue Fellowship is focused specifically on the ocean, waterways, and/or climate change. This can encompass a wide variety of environmental and social justice issues, so be creative and consider the vast intersectionalities between people and the planet.
